Along the Duero
Matarromera works vineyards near the Duero around Olivares and Valbuena de Duero. Limestone and clay soils, together with pronounced temperature changes, shape its Tempranillo.
The Castilla y León setting
Ribera del Duero follows the Duero across the high plateau of Castilla y León. Vineyards rise from around 720 metres to over 1,000 metres, where dry summers, long cold winters and marked temperature changes create a demanding setting for growing grapes.
Wine has been part of this landscape for more than 2,500 years. Today, the river connects vineyard villages across Burgos, Valladolid, Soria and Segovia — a region to discover through its wines, its food and the patient work behind each bottle.

The craft
Oak, then time in bottle
Selected French and American oak barrels add measured spice. Further refinement in bottle brings together the ripe fruit, structure and persistent finish.
