From the heart of Ribera
Joven Roble draws on Tempranillo vineyards around Pedrosa de Duero, La Horra and Gumiel del Mercado. Clay and limestone soils underpin this fresh expression of Ribera del Duero.
The Castilla y León setting
Ribera del Duero follows the Duero across the high plateau of Castilla y León. Vineyards rise from around 720 metres to over 1,000 metres, where dry summers, long cold winters and marked temperature changes create a demanding setting for growing grapes.
Wine has been part of this landscape for more than 2,500 years. Today, the river connects vineyard villages across Burgos, Valladolid, Soria and Segovia — a region to discover through its wines, its food and the patient work behind each bottle.

The craft
A lighter touch of oak
The producer gives Joven Roble five months in French oak. The emphasis stays on youthful fruit and freshness rather than the longer ageing of its Crianza.
